The Patch: Every patch on the Sardine Tuxedo Jean started life as a campaign backdrop from our first drop in 2023. All vinyl was had cut and painted to imperfection by Jim and Gem.

Indigo Dye & Wash Instructions:

Indigo dye sits on the surface of the denim fibre. That's what gives it depth of colour and how it develops a patina over time. Expect transfer onto light surfaces and clothing in the first few wears. This is normal for indigo denim and settles after a few washes.

How to wash:

Wash after around 10 wears unless visibly dirty. Turn inside out, cold gentle cycle, with a cup of white vinegar. Wash solo for the first few washes — hand washing works too.

After washing, gently roll from the hem upwards to remove excess water. Line dry in shade to avoid fading.

Enjoy your garment as it naturally fades and creases in the places you wear it most.

This is a relaxed unisex fit. The rise sits mid to high depending on your height.

Ryan is 185cm tall / 28" waist: Wearing a Medium for a loose fit. Small is his true fit.

Emily is 175cm tall / 31 " waist: Wearing a Large for a loose fit. Medium is her true fit.

Sardine Team:

Gem is 177cm tall / 29" waist: Wearing a Small. She also likes the Medium for a loose fit.

Jim is 178cm tall / 36" waist: Wearing an Extra large

Returns/Exchanges

We hope you love your purchases, but on the off chance you don't or you need a different size, we can offer a refund, or an exchange if we have stock available.

To be eligible for a return you have 21 days after receiving your item to request a return. Items must be in original condition, with tags attached, unwashed and unworn.
The cost of returns or exchange is covered by the customer. We will cover the cost if the item is damaged or faulty.
