Made in Melbourne from surplus fabric, with a substantial, almost neoprene-like feel. Wear it solo or layer it under our Cobalt Tank or Sardine Tuxedo Jacket.

What is surplus fabric?

Surplus fabric, sometimes called deadstock, is unused material that already exists.

It can be left over from production, over-ordered by brands or sitting unused in mills and warehouses.

According to Circular Sourcing’s 2022 Australian Surplus Textile Survey, at least 10 million kilograms of unused pre-consumer textile surplus accumulates in Australia each year.

We couldn’t justify making new fabric when something this good already exists. So we didn’t.

Fit & Wear

A little heads-up: this turtle neck has a particularly tight neck opening, so getting it on requires some grit. If you have a big head (guilty!), proceed with caution and a hairbrush. We think the squeeze is worth it.

Once on, it sits comfortably against the body. We recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit.

Ryan wears a size M and is 181 cm tall.
Emily wears a size L and is 175 cm tall.

Returns/Exchanges

  • To be eligible for a return you have 21 days after receiving your item to request a return. Items must be in original condition, with tags attached, unwashed and unworn.
  • The cost of returns or exchange is covered by the customer. We will cover the cost if the item is damaged or faulty.
